Got on the water about 9:30 fished till 3. Started out thinking they would be smallow. That is what I had planned for. So I went to 2 places I normally do good in the spring. On one of the fished from the mouth all the way back. Tryed 6 different baits. Not a single bite. So I moved out to the main river sides and fished deep banks. Ended up landing 5 fish. 4 was keepers. 2.5-3lb range. Nothing very big so no pictures this time. Was better than I have done lately. Water was 49 when I started and 53 was the highest I seen all day.
