Does anyone know if the Bluegill at Mantua have started biting yet?

Thanks for the reply. I have been up later in the spring but never this early. My son just finished his last final of the year and wanted to go somewhere. We ended up going to Strawberry on Friday and while fishing was great, catching wasn't. I caught one cutthroat in the slot and my son missed one bite, and that's all we ended up with. Talked to 4 boats and 3 groups on the shore and not a single fish among them. I'll give Mantua a couple of weeks and then go up and report.

Sounds good, I did see more boats on Mantua the last week or so, so I expect there may be a little catching going on, or else boat riders... Good luck... J
