Landed my first walleye at Boyd today.

You beat me to the post, hope you guys had a good time. The walleyes should start biting a lot more in a couple of weeks. Then we will have to go up to Carter, there’s some good walleye in there.

Welcome to the site MoHagan, congrats on getting your first eye. What method were you using to catch it, trolling cranks, casting or maybe bottom bouncing?

Hey Curt, I think his lure was a deep diving blue and silver shad-rap, just like the ones we used in Willard. Boyd also has gizzard shad so that blue and white/silver works good.

That makes sense blue and silver is a good color combo.
