Anyone ever had a late seventies Eska 7hp outboard motor? A friend from work is trying to sell one and I was thinking of buying it off of him if its not a bad motor

I have one it has been an ok motor, I wouldn't be scared of one as long as you remember its old and parts are limited and pricey. but if the price is right its better than not having one[bobhappy]

Make sure you have the guy start it for you, so you can hear it run and make sure that the pee stream is flowing. He could start it in a garbage can,
