looking for a fishing partner the first and third weekends in August to hit the gorge - fish_hntr - 07-13-2018
Planning to get two more trips in at the gorge before Sep 1st gets here, would leave Thursday and return late Saturday or early Sunday. Will be camping at Lucerne, the boat is a very well-equipped Lund. The dates are Aug 2-5 and 16-19, message me if interested in splitting costs.

A typical weekend at the gorge will cost me $300 just for gas and camping fees, this is assuming no gear is lost via snags or damage. Memorial weekend ended up closer to $400 due to 5 nights of camping and lost gear. So assuming I took 2 people on my boat it would be $300 divided 3 ways. Definitely not the cheapest hobby, but cheaper than therapy and puts healthy food in the freezer.

Just curious, what species do you typically target when you fish the Gorge?

Kokes and macs, try to limit on both. And Pizzaman has fished with me a few times, he sometimes even brings along smoked goodies!

Wow, that's not bad at all. Tickets for Hamilton cost $700 for three. Gone skiing or to a professional sports event or a concert lately? Your trip sounds like a real bargain in comparison. So nice of you to make the offer.

We did attend the Soul 2 Soul(Tim and Faith) concert last night and had premium seating, so I can relate. I don't try to make a profit, just safer and more social to take others and share costs, plus catching fish is icing on the cake!
