I am new to the area and have never fished on the ice at Oakley. When does it usually freeze over? I would guess it would be close to ice fishable by now but has anyone been there yet this year on the ice?

Ended up getting on the ice at Trapper Creek. I fished Saturday and Today and did not even get a sniff. I’ve seen YouTube videos and good reports on other forums icing fish ok this body of water but the lake may as well be empty. Saw several other groups fishing on Saturday and saw one guy today that braved the cold and wind and did not see one fish caught. 🤷🏼♂️
