HIt Scofield yesterday and the fishing was good, but the slush was DEEEEP. We three got 44 fish and over half of them were in the slot. Five of them were good bows about 2# or so. NO CHUBS darn it. Need the bait. We had snow machines and they handled the snow and slush if you didn't hit a slush pocket which we did twice. It was a major chore to get the mch. out of the muck.
I would not recomend snow Mch. or walking in the deep snow unless you are very experenced or are very foolish like we were. most of our fish were 14 give or take an inch. Very few smaller fish. Good thing coming for SF.
