Safe ice? - catchinon - 02-28-2019

I'm wanting to go ice fishing tomorrow. My wife is concerned that I will be going on my own. Does anybody know of any lakes that are good and solid that would reassure her that I won't fall through? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Just got home from Causey. Plenty o' ice there. Didn't measure but I'd guesstimate over 20". Accessed by spillway. Brought a plank, but wasnt necessary. Edge was soft though. Might be worse tomorrow. Still 40 degrees when I left

Deer Creek had solid edges down by the island Sunday. Don't have a thickness but there were plenty of groups out there with no troubles.
