HEY TNT , HOWS ABOUT DOING THE BURBOT THIS WEEK ?
BURBOT , FRESHWATER COD , LAWYERS , BOWFIN OR DOGFISH OR ANYOTHER NAME AND YOUR TALKING ABOUT THE MOST UNDER RATED FISHING TASTE TREAT UNDER THE SUN .
HEY , AIN'T THAT A TRASH FISH ? NOPE , JUST ONE UGLY FISH IS ALL . ON OUR INLAND LAKES HERE IN MICHIGAN THERE AN UNWELCOME TROUT KILLING GUEST . BUT IN THE GREATLAKES THERE GOURGING THEMSELVES ON THE GOBIES . KINDA FIGHT LIKE A PIKE AND TASTE LIKE CRAB OR LOBSTER TOO .
ONCE YOU LAND ONE OF THESE BIG MONSTERS YA GOTTA WHACK THEM ON THE HEAD SO THEY WILL PERISH IN A STRAIT LINE FOR CLEANING , OTHERWISE THEY WILL CURL UP LIKE AN EEL . KINDA HARD TO CLEAN THEM THAT WAY . A QUICK CATFISH PEEL IS NEEDED TO GET THE SKIN OFF AND USE WIRE CUTTERS ON THE FINS , CUT OUT THE BACKSTRAPS AND FRY JUST LIKE YOU WOULD YOUR WALLEYE OR KITTENS . YOU CAN BOIL AND CHUNK UP THE BACKSTRAPS , DIP THEM IN SOME MELTED BUTTER AND YOU WOULD SWEAR YOUR EATIN THAT $14.00 A POUND LOBSTER TAIL .
THER'S BEEN A LOT MORE INTREST IN THIS ONCE HATED FISH , HECK THERE'S MORE FISHING CLUBS STARTING UP EVERY YEAR THAT TARGET THIS SPECIES OF FISH . WETHER YOU GE A LIL' OLD 14" FISH OR A BIG OLD FIVE FOOTER , YOUR IN FOR A BATTLE .
AND FOR US BOWHUNTERS , WELL COME GET YOUR PRE-SEASON PRACTICE IN . HEY , YOU NEVER KNOW THIS MAY BE THE NEXT NEW SPORTSFISH TO HIT THE MARKET .
30 YEARS AGO , WALLEYE WERE CONCIDERED TO BE A TRASH FISH , NOW LOOK AT IT'S STATUS .

I thought I put about the ugliest one I could find next to myself. ha ha. Take a look. It is the Razorback Sucker. I am working my way across the US with these fish of the week. I will see if I can get something from your area on the next pass.[

ya can't invite a guest back , he gotta come back on his own . when he reads thru the post , he'll realise that were a pretty nice fishing community full of knowledge and friendship.
he's gotta be the one to make the choise to visit ,stay or go .
