Well I’ve been struggling on Chickamauga recently and haven’t felt like driving to carters, guntersville, or nickajack so I went for some pond fishing. I had a pretty decent day. I’ll post some pics but I didn’t get a chance to take a pic of a lot of them cause the came off the hook lol. I landed nothing but females, so It was a huge surprise to me that I found some that haven’t spawned out. These ponds that don’t get a lot of inflow usually are ahead of schedule. Long story short i pinned them on some stick baits and then when they quit biting I noticed they were going after shad so I switched up to a swim bait and had an awesome day. It defiantly help me build that confidence back up.
