Stopped at tackle toms for a quick visit. Put in at Suger loaf, ran all over the lake looking for bigger perch. Tons of 6” perch in the back of boulder creek. The flooded road area by the island was covered in prespawn smallies. Was a great day on the water. Water temp varied from 49-54 depending on where you were on the lake. Most of the perch were caught in 10-7.5 fow. We ended up with 45 Jumbos, all were caught between 5:30pm-7pm.

Looks like a fun trip, perch and smally's, can't beet that combo. Wow, 7.5 to 10 FOW that seems pretty shallow or is that normal there for this time of the year?

Thanks for the report. Hope to make it up there some day and actually fish, I always end up just driving past on the way to go hunting. I can live vicariously through the reports though! Thanks again and happy trails.

I normally only make it up twice a year, once in the spring and 5 days over the 4th of July. I hope too make it up again.....
