do any of u know of any kind of long soft platics that float. I was fishin for musky and got talkin to a guy last year from back east that had something that looked kind of like a foot long snake he was workin back and forth. he told me the name but i forgot. any help would be appreciated.

to lazy to look it up for you but if you go to bass pro i'm sure you will find several plastic worms that will float

You're thinking of jerkbaits. All the different plastics mfg's make their own version of them, and they come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. Some brand names are zulu and fluke. Some models float, some sink.
