Fogberry - tigerpincer - 07-02-2019 It was super foggy this morning as we arrived to mud creek. Fogg stuck to the lake and refused to burn off until 10ish. Was kind of cool but the bite was very slow for us. The two of us finished up with our limits but it took us until about 12:30 to do so. Even the cutty action was slower than it's been for us the past few times weve been up lately. We didnt catch any kokes below 30'. Everything but the occasional cutthroat was caught shallow. [/quote] I must be reading these sentences incorrectly, because they appear to be exact opposites. Everything but the occasional cutthroat was caught shallow. So all fish came shallow except for a couple cutthroat that were caught deeper. ???? As mentioned it was very foggy or soupy. When we first launched from the marina it was like most were stuck in a zone nearby. Being very cautious as seeing others all around us we broke away from the pack and found our own twilight zone. [crazy] I wouldn't go as far to say catching was off the charts but it wasn't a bad day either. We got limits of kokes with a pair of them at 19" 2 1/2lbs. We also got our share of cutts.
