Lake LBJ Guide Report - JimF - 02-25-2004 LAKE LBJ: Water stained; 53 degrees; 824.73': Black Bass are fair to good in 3'-8' of water pitching a blk/blue 1/4 oz. Terminator jig (www.terminatorlures.com) w/Uncle Josh pork trailers (www.unclejosh.com), Sour Grape Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) and 7" blue fleck Power Worms. Fish are going into a pre-spawn staging mode and should be more aggressive as the water temperature stabilizes at, or above, 55 degrees. Target ditches and creek/channel points until the spawn begins. White Bass are good early in the Llano and Colorado arms using 1/8 oz.chrome Tiny Traps and clear/blue Spoiler Shads (www.cremelure.com). Watch for the birds and fish under them.
