Fishing with kids - Archie1219 - 07-16-2019 I am considering taking a couple of my kids fishing in the next couple of weeks. I haven’t fished in a couple years due to recovering from a broken ankle last summer and haven’t been out yet this year. We don’t own a boat so we would be fishing from shore. I was thinking of either going to Smith and Morehouse or Strawberry. Any suggestions that can help out? Not much size to them, recently planted rainbows, but he said it was fun. Re: [Archie1219] Fishing with kids - Cowboypirate - 07-16-2019 Let me add a third yes to SM. Its has treated fishermen and women well lately. Its does get crowded on the weekends - just a fair warning, but so does the berry. I also can recommend the streams up 150 in the Uintas. Crowds are less and they can be a great option this time of year. Bring the bug spray - tis the season [signature] Re: [Archie1219] Fishing with kids - Archie1219 - 07-17-2019 Thank you all for the replies. I will look at making a trip up to Smith and Morehouse in the next couple of weeks. [signature] |
