Flaming Gorge Help - fish_fanatic - 08-07-2019 With the family gone for the week I am hoping to make it to the Gorge to target some pups. I plan on launching from Sheep Creek, I don't know if that is a good area this time of year. I would like to fish as far south as I can and still be in a decent spot. If anyone can give me some advice I would appreciate it. I plan on jigging mostly I have white and pearl tube jigs from 3 1/2 inches up to huge and I planed on tipping them with a little sucker meat. I was told not to put too big a piece of sucker meat that they didnt like it. Again some feedback on this would be appreciated for I would not want to smell if ya know what I mean. I almost forgot I will be in my toon with a 4 HP motor and although I am more mobile than I used to be I am still pretty limited as far as the Gorge goes. Lots. 60-90 feet off every point. Loaded.
