I have Crappie on the mind.
Gota tie into some before winter lays down some ice. Thinking about another run to Newton, based on the advice from some on this forum, but if ya think I would fair better elsewhere I would be happy to listen. I think I will have Buckwheat and his wheelchair along for this run, so another element of difficulty will likely be involved.
On a differnt note, I ran into a ton of young aggressive green sunfish in the outlet of Wiilard. Messed with em till I was a bit embarrased with myself. Smalles hook tipped with powerbait Crappie nibbles. If you want your kids to make an easy catch, that would be my vote. It was jammed with Carp too, a decent shot with a bow ( not me) and it would have made it look like Grendel and Beowulf's final battle.
