Anyone been to Mantua lately and if yes what are the ice conditions?

Not been there, but a customer told me yesterday that the ice edges were great and the ice was still strong. He did not tell me how thick. He did mention he did not catch any big fish but did catch some gills.

This is from a facebook post - not mine, so dont hold me to it...
There was about 13 inches yesterday. Started to get slushy on top by noon. Edges on South side started to get soft. Rained all night last night so I'm guessing ice has deteriorated more but probably still fishable.
