Garmin Panoptix LiveScope Transducer System.
there is two Transducers pluged in to the Garmin fishfinder. The Panoptix PS30 is a Down Looking Transducerit has a 40 deg cone and can see down deep. The LVS32 LiveScope Transducer can  look forward are any way I point it, can also look down, it will look at the top of the water Like the humminbird 360.   the Livescope has a 20 deg cone
they cost alot. each one cost $1500.  It is more fun watching  fish than catching them,  and seeing what they do.
this is the last time I was at Strawberry. the downriggers down 33 feet did best but the ones down 40 feet did OK

That is some cool stuff.  I would end up crashing my boat from watching the finder all the time.

It makes me wonder where we will be in a few years with this stuff.

That’s too cool. Looks like the fish liked checking out the balls.

Finally had time to watch your video, pretty cool how the fish right up to the DR ball, makes me think the fish are wondering what that ball is.

Liketrolling,  Would it be possible for you to post pictures of how you mounted your "sideways" transducer?

Thanks, I appreciate the information.  I assume you remove the tranducer(s) when traveling at high speed?
I'm wondering if the Garmin PS31 forward-looking transducer mount bracket would work attached to the stern? It appears to be oriented sideways as you have yours and seems to have the same shape as the one that the European fellows in the video are using.

Robert, what effect do you think the high temperatures this week is going to have on the Kokanee at Strawberry, do you think it will start setting up into the normal summer pattern.
