Cascade Perch - idfisher - 05-21-2020

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for catching perch at cascade this time of year.  Are they still in the shallows spawning or are they in deeper water?  Will a plain hook with a worm work as well as anything or would something artificial work best.  Thanks for any advice and have a great memorial day weekend!

I saw on another website that they're spawned out, so they're probably out in deeper water. A plain worm might be a good choice, a jig with a twister tail body might also be a good choice.

Thank you, that's helpful.

Your welcome. Chartreuse is a great color. Good luck.

A lot of people use jigs with a bit of night crawler and wind drift their boats across the lake barely touching bottom with their jigs. You can see the boats out doing that and learn from their drift patterns.

A jig with a piece of crawler works good if you can find some.[Image: Cascade-Trip-2016.jpg]
