Pend Oreille - osamamo - 05-28-2020 I’ll be heading up north to Pend Oreille mid-June, and was curious about that’s in the lake. I remember talking to a fisheries biologist a couple years ago about the area. I know there’s Kokanee and trout, and ‘eyes but was more curious about pike. Do I have to go south to fish for them (like CdA) or are there any up that way. We’ll be up there for a weekend and hoping to get an idea where to start our ventures, rather than spending the whole time trying to locate a fish. Thanks for any help! RE: Pend Oreille - meancuznalfy - 05-28-2020 There's pike in there, I've not fished it, but would be my lake of choice if I was in that area. Bays with weeds would probably be a good place to start. RE: Pend Oreille - osamamo - 05-28-2020 I downloaded a map, and marked some flats and drop offs. Anything in particular when looking for pike? RE: Pend Oreille - osamamo - 06-17-2020 Weather made fishing almost impossible out of my boat, but the time we did get to fish, the girlfriend caught ‘em all. Lost a few big ones, but I will be back up and figure that lake out RE: Pend Oreille - meancuznalfy - 06-18-2020 Nice, that's a good start. Weather kept us off of the lake today. |
