Wade Fishing - DS - 03-03-2004

I would like to know about good spots to wade (wet) for catfish and bass in eastern Kentucky and around Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee. I plan to do this during June and July.

[Tongue] I suggest SHALLOW water near trees or stumps. Put your bait under a cork and fish it off the bottom near the roots. Brushpiles are great too!

Hey there DS,

Welcome to BFT! Freshwater board good! Hit some of the states boards too! You won't get a better answer but might get a faster one. Now... if you were asking about wading the surf in Huntington beach, California, I could tell you that you don't need to ... just cast!

Welcome. Yeah you might want to try Kentucky Board or surrounding states for more detailed info. Here is California when I go after Catfish I do not wade. I usually fish off boat using drop shot with doughbait or marhmellow and worm or mackeral.
