One of the prettiest Bonnies I've had the pleasure to catch.

I have to go with Golden trout. I don't have a picture but maybe someone else can post one.

When I brought home some burbot my 4 yo said they were beautiful. Eye of the beholder. I've got to get her out more!

I LOVE the colors on trout as much as anybody.  Last summer we summited King's Peak, and caught some amazing little cutts that looked like living jewels, I swear.  But, I think sunfish are WAY under-rated, and there are so MANY gorgeous fish in that family.

Fishing at Kaysville Pond once, I pulled up an amazing little green sunfish; glossy green back, blue lightning on his cheeks, the same blue and mango-orange flecking his sides, bright orange fins and tail rimmed with striking white edges.  He buried any peacock bass or whatever from the tropics.

The humble bluegill, too.  Brick-red breast and golden undersides, sky blue chin and cheeks, shimmering purple breaking through the broad green and black bars, and occasionally a little patch of copper glinting like a new penny just below his gold-rimmed eye.

I would have to agree on the goldens, then it's a tie between brookies and the cuts in Henry's lake

Caught this Black Triggerfish two days ago outside of Kona, it was beautiful.

This mahi-mahi I caught 7 years ago out of the north shore hadn’t changed colors yet, and it was gorgeous.

Still, spawning buck brookies and golden trout are as beautiful as any.
