Willard crappies - hook_sets - 05-01-2022

I was able to go fishing for a few hours at the north marina  today.  Got there about 1pm and there was a little breeze from the west.  Crappies was hitting chartreuse grubs in the harbor.  Everyone seems to be catching them.  I got my limit of 10 crappies and headed home at 3:30pm.

Way to go, looks like some nice slabs, did you measure any of them?

I did not measure them, but my guess would be 10.5 -11”.   I am still trying to locate them 13-14 inch crappies.

OK, I thought maybe they were the bigger ones. Can't be very deep in the marina. Were you using a bobber or just casting the jig?

I was using jig and bobber (28” apart)
