Fishing the Nolichucky River - nighthawk - 07-25-2022 I spent some time on the Nolichucky river at Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park with my grandkids on June 27-29, 2022. We had a great time but didn't catch any fish. I had one bite but was not able to land it. We did get to fish for the first time with my grandkids. We found a great spot to fish down the river of the park near the Crockett Shoals. I am hoping to be able to do more fishing this year. I will do another post about that weekend soon. Sounds like a fun time, what kind of fish were you targeting?
