Dodgers - Bduck - 08-17-2023

I am not dodger poor. Sometimes I feel a need for a hand dolly to move my heavy dodger bins around.  Blush A couple of years ago I made 2 different slotted bins to display the dodger to use, one for the larger 5.5" and for the 4.5". Now I'm in the process of making a 3rd slotted bin for my go to dodgers of both sizes to carry around instead of taking up a lot of space. I have tried a dodger binder and didn't like it, even tried using food sealer bags. I can use the excess dodgers for Christmas tree decor.  Big Grin

This is my 5.5" bin. Divider is made from
the 4x12"x1/2" flat hard plastic used for
mounting fishfinder xducer at transom. A
Cabela's or Sportsman's Warehouse find

Had to explore what would be perfect cut for slot

A hacksaw was too much hand sawing making a sloppy
cut, table saw way too wide of a cut, a bandsaw blade
was close, but ended finding jigsaw blade was right size.
Next is selecting deep bin for dodgers to stand up
right on its side so lid can close. Slotted stands are
screwed thru the bottom of bin using small flathead
screws providing good security

RE: Dodgers - FishfulThinkin - 08-17-2023

I'm dodger poor because I keep losing them.  I lost 3 at once this morning on a renegade tree that snuck up on us in 80 feet of water! Angry
