New to bass fishing - Cryptothedog - 04-30-2024 I'm new to bass fishing (never been before) I bought some tackle that is supposed to work and have done research on rigging up a ned rig and dropshot rig. Does anyone know of some community ponds around the salt lake area that I can try that I may have a decent chance of catching bass off shore? Also any tips you can give me would be helpful. RE: New to bass fishing - Bubman1 - 04-30-2024 They will be getting ready to spawn look for cover, rip rap flooded brush things like that also watch you line sometimes you won't feel a hard hit as for location I can't help much the dwr website would be a good place to look RE: New to bass fishing - Therapist - 05-01-2024 Bountiful Pond has some decent fish and good access. Some of the canal in Day Break if there is access any more. Good way to learn is to join a BASS Club. Two major sponsors are BASS and FLW. Don't know what clubs are around anymore, but you can go to the main websites and find out !! Good Luck!!! |
