Back Chasing the Apex Fish - k2muskie - 07-02-2024

Took our first trip to Pineview.  Lots of water to roam.  Had some repairs done and wanted to ensure kicker motor was fixed along with iTroll and no issues especially trolling 4plus MPH.

Anyhoodles, roughly 1.5 hours into troll in 30 plus FOW reel starts zzzzzz zzzz zzzzzz.  Grabbed rod and fish on.  Short fight fish into net.  Nice chunky 45.25” Tiger Muskie.  Nothing beats catching the top freshwater predator.  Quick measure, picture and back into Pineview she went.

Nice fish, did it take long to land it.

With equipment we have specifically for Tiger Muskie so from hookup mind you trolling 4 plus MPH roughly 3-4 minutes total time net measure, picture, release.
