Jordy turn - Redrebel - 08-16-2024 It’s starting In RE: Jordy turn - Cowboypirate - 08-16-2024 Ahh amori. Of course dieing up river kinda takes the romance all out of that spawn thing RE: Jordy turn - joshomaru - 08-16-2024 It's like the mayfly; go through all that metamorphosis for the one dance. Adult mayflies don't even have mouths, so, eating isn't even an option. Just progressing the chain of life. The salmon won't eat anymore at some point, and do their dance, and add their link to multiple chains. Kind of a tragic love story that puts the Bard's Romeo and Juliet to shame.... RE: Jordy turn - brookie - 08-16-2024 Stan and I went to Jordy today, worked hard for 6 kokanee. 2 are very red but that big one was fun to catch. That big one was 20". Today was probably my last time on Jordy until the season opens again in December. Talked to a couple guys they kept seeing them on their live scope, but they just couldn’t get them to bite. Did you get many rainbows? I had quite a few. We did get a few rainbows too but we were finding the kokes so deep, not lots of rainbows. The kokes were down 41 to 57'. We fished 6:30 to about 2:00, like I said we worked for them. The power boats got increasingly annoying as the day progressed.(08-16-2024, 11:56 PM)brookie Wrote:Good job, I only fished for a few hours when I went up yesterday. I guess we will have to hit SC or Electric for kokes, they tend to be a little behind in the spawn and then Deer Creek or Starvy for walleye as we move into fall. |
