Invasive Golden Mussel - Bduck - 11-26-2024 As if we don't have enough issues with the spread of invasive species in our lakes, California is invaded with a different mussel which could spread here. My son text me last night that Lake Camanche which is located about 40 minutes east of Sacramento has found the Golden Mussel. The boat ramp has been temporarily closed. I used to frequent this lake when I lived in Sacramento.
