No Ice on Mantua? - Springbuck1 - 01-12-2025 Just wondering. I checked last week and nothing. Anybody been? RE: No Ice on Mantua? - lavaman - 01-12-2025 I was out there today on 2"-3" sketchy ice. Open water in the middle. The ice varies on thickness over short distances so use caution if you go. The bite was slow. The odd thing is Pineveiw is ready with many fishing it. I have ice fished here for the last 26 years and Pineveiw frezzing before Mantua is a first for me. I gotta wonder why? Could it be the chemicals brigham city has been using to control the plant and alge growth? Anyone have any insite on this? I could just be that it has been a little more windy and warmer there, than it normally is. |
