I went to the weber on saturday. i fished near the exit above devils slide.
i used my ultra light spining rod and either a nymph under an indicator or
a rooster tail. i caught 8 browns on the rooster tail. and 6 browns and 7 white
fish on the nymph... i was using little jons and pheasant tails size 16. all were
nice browns. the whitefish were small.
I also headed up to the weber on sunday... gorgous day!! i fished the same area
with the same nymphs i couldnt keep the whitefish off... got bored
with them after about 40, so i went
to a rooster tail only one brown for like 2hrs. worked my way up to the freeway.
right next to the freeway was a nice deep pool that had that bubbly foamy crap.
floating on it. i threw my rooster tail up in that and pulled out 3 nice browns and
a very nice cutthroat ( i didnt know there were cutts in there) it was 20- inches
long and wieghed around 3 lbs... nice day though..

I was on the river Sunday. Fishing was outstanding for browns & white using a weighted beaded hares ear. Couldn't keep them off my line. FANTASTIC !!!
