Flamming Gorge (Report) - Hoobie - 04-07-2004
Me, my dad, and my bro fished Flamming Gorge last weekend around sheep creek and had great success, caught about 20 each most 12-18 inches my dad caught a 20 incher and hooked into a real big one but it broke the line 8 Feet from the shore. We fished from shore using worm and marshmellows, dark green and rainbow powerbait and carp meat on the bottom and from a bobber it didn't really matter the fish kept bitting, there were a few people trolling around and it looked like they had equally good success. We saw about 8 mountain goats on the way home and I found a 4x4 shed in the river, speaking of the shed is there anything I can do to get rid of the river smell? The weather was nice and it was a great trip[

Great report, I know a bunch of guys are from this site are heading to the gorge tomorrow and I am going out there next week. I will be spending most of my time going after macks, but when things slow up and the girlfriend gets bored, we can move in and nail bows!!!!
