GREEN RIVER - FISHKING64 - 04-08-2004

[cool]Going to fish the Green below the dam next week. Meeting some clients to do some heavy duty marketing. Does anyone have recent report on what is happening over there?

Watch the back eddies for risers. Griffiths gnat and an RS2 trailer would be a good way to start. If you start seeing some BWO hatching, try a Quigley. I was there a month ago. Action was 99% streamers.

I can see if I took up flyfishing I would have to go back to school and learn a new language!

Thanks for the offer, but I already spend a fortune on my obsession called fishing (let's see there is the boat, Suburban to pull the boat, downrigger, downrigger rods and reels, trolling rods and reels, jigging rods and reels, sturgeon rods and reels, ice fishing rods and reels, ice shack, power auger, catfishing tackle, spinning reels, walleye tackle, large boxes of lures for all of the above... whew)-- I would risk having to find a new place to live if I walked into the house carrying a flyrod!

Kent,

If your going with clients I was wondering if you had hired a guide. It would be worth it. Clients are more friendly and free with their $ after a good day of fishing. A guide will have fished for at least a couple of hours yesterday and has a whole pocket full of whats working. I would tip the guide well for their help.
