Any help with Montana - Trout-Crazy - 04-14-2004

I posted this message in the Montana board but it seems as if no-one has been there in like year. Anyway here is my question and maybe one of you guys might be able to help me out. I have fished Hebgen lake every year on memorial weekend (just after ice off-usually) and the fishing has been awesome. I was just wondering if anyone knows the conditions up there yet or if the ice has started to come off yet. Does anyone ever fish up there. You can catch some HUGE browns!!!

Those Montana guys are pretty close-mouthed! I would try calling one of the Montana fly shops. I don't have any of the numbers, but there is Bob Jacklyn's in West Yellowstone, Madison River Outfitters in W.Y., The Trout Shop in W.Y., George Anderson's in Livingston to name a few.
