Lake Mead Report - reellittlephish - 05-05-2004
Launched Tuesday morning 5:30. Tried 3 places inside Callville Bay where I've caught fish before and no bite. Saw a couple small stripers working shad off a primary point but didn't hook up.
Exploring, ran out on main lake to west of Black Island. What I think used to be Crawdad Cove. Hooked one largemouth in 5 ft. water on shad swimbait fished just off the main lake point. Came in at 11:00 and talked to one other bass fisherman who also hooked up three times all on points and right up shallow. Graphed a lot of suspended fish at southwest side of Calville entrance and near the tires. Whether they were stripers, carp or bass I don't know.
