Welcome to BFT! I think you'll find that this is one of the better sites out there.(People, Helpful Information) I haven't fished for cats in a coouple of weeks, but I'm guessing with the colder weather the bite has slowed some.

I can not tell you much about Utah Lake this year, but in years past the last week in May and the first couple of weeks in June have been great. Fish the island off of Lincoln beach. Size two hooks worms, chicken livers, shrimp. Use big line or the big ones will break you off on the rocks. I have found that the stormy weather is great for the big ones. Just don't get swept away in the surf.
