Anaheim Lake has some BIG NEWS - tubeN2 - 06-18-2004 NOW HERE'S THE BIG NEWS-------------------Anaheim Lake's Grand Opening for Catfish Season will begin Thursday, June 24th. We've got a great season planned for you all summer long. We have obtained a contract for huge catfish that average 10 pounds and some up to 20 pounds, maybe even larger. We will be stocking these huge Catfish every week, along with thousands of pounds of great eating Catfish. Anaheim Lake is truly a beautiful lake, it has islands in the middle of the lake that offer great fishing opportunities from boats. There are many huge trees and lots of grass areas for camping. We will be offering our 24-hour, 15 fish pass on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights all summer. NOW HERE'S THE DEAL----------------Dad buys one 24 hour pass for $40.00, he gets a 15 fish limit and Mom and 3 Kids, 12 and under get in free. Mom and the Kids can fish free and help Dad get his 15 fish limit. And here's the best part, there is no charge for camping, that's free too. Of course we will also have our regular day fishing from 6am to 4pm and evening fishing from 5 to 11pm. So grab the Wife, the Kids and come on out and enjoy a cool summer evening fishing, Bar-B-Qing or a family overnight camping trip. DON'T MISS IT---------Anaheim Lake opens Thursday, June 24th. BE THERE!!! CORONA LAKE NOW HERE'S THE BIG NEWS-----------It's summer time and the Catfish are biting, and that old song is sure true at Corona Lake. The last few days of warm weather kicked the bite into high gear and many anglers had to buy a second permit or come back for the night session, because the bite was so good. Listen to this, Bob and Susan Lutz of Corona weighed in a 10 fish limit at 63 pounds. Their biggest fish on the stringer was 21 1/2 pounds, second biggest was 12 pounds and 3rd place was 8 1/2 pounds. Now, that's Catfishing. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL----------------The Crappie and Bluegill bite can't be beat either. Crappie, ranging from 3/4 to 2 pounds are being taken on small jugs tipped with meal worms, fishing brush and structure. Lots of 1/4 to 1/2 pound Bluegill are taking red worms, meal worms or wax worms. REMEMBER, WE HAVE EVENING FISHING-------------From 5 to 11pm. Get off work, grab the Kids and come on out for a hamburger or hot dog Bar-B-Q and a cool summer evening of fishing. DON'T FORGET, ON Friday and Saturday nights we have 24-hour passes available. Dad buys one 24-hour pass for $40.00, he gets a 15 fish limit and Mom and 3 Kids under 12 get in free. Mom and the Kids can fish free and help Dad get his 15 fish limit. HERE'S THE BEST PART, there's no charge for camping, that's free too. So come on out, enjoy the very best in fishing. We are stocking twice a week every Tuesday and Saturday. SANTA ANA RIVER LAKES--------------Will close on Monday, June 21st for cleaning and repairs. However, our Catfish Season will move to Anaheim Lake on Thursday, June 24th. Anaheim Lake is just 1/2 mile from Santa Ana River Lakes and it is very easy to get there. Take the 91 Freeway to the Tustin off ramp, just like you are going to Santa Ana River Lakes, however, you go 1/2 mile North on Tustin, pass three stop lights, to Miraloma Avenue. Turn left on Miraloma to the Lake entrance and you are there. If you haven't been to Anaheim Lake before, you're in for a very pleasant surprise. The Lake is about the same size as Santa Ana River Lake, however it has islands in the middle of the Lake for great boat fishing opportunities, lots of trees and many areas are covered with grass for great camping sites. It's truly a pretty Lake. We are stocking the Lake heavily with huge Catfish and thousands of pounds of great eating Catfish. For more information, call 714-996-3508. Thanks, see you at Anaheim Lake. Fishing at the latter is like fishing in the middle of the freeway. Noise included. Prefer Corona Lake as it is sort of still in the country. Ambiance is a important factor in choosing my fishing locations. It keeps the old martinis chilled.[crazy] [cool] [signature] Re: [tubeN2] Anaheim Lake has some BIG NEWS - Dryrod - 06-24-2004 [cool][#800040][size 2]I will drink to that idea although I have to wait until 1600 hours.[/size][/#800040] [signature] Re: [tubeN2] Anaheim Lake has some BIG NEWS - theangler - 06-27-2004 Hey Guys, I've never fished Anahiem, how is it? Any word on how the fishing was for the event? I saw some decent kats at the web cam site. [signature] Re: [tubeN2] Anaheim Lake has some BIG NEWS - JapanRon - 07-02-2004 Hi TubeN2, Thanks for the heads up. That might be a good poll question although it may have been done already. What's your favorite pay-to-fish-lake amoungst these 4? Irvine Anahiem Corona SARL That's the order I vote. JapanRon [signature] Re: [JapanRon] Anaheim Lake has some BIG NEWS - tubeN2 - 07-02-2004 I was thinking about that at one time and changed my mind. It was based on the fact that people in other states would have no participation in the pole. But I guess we can start our own local poll.[cool] [signature] |
