New Spinning Reel - WOLFRAD - 07-11-2004
Hey guys, wanted to know if any one has heard of the PACIFICA 6000 SPINNING REEL. Went to Sante Fe, New Mexico yesterday and stopped by BIG 5 SPORTING STORE to pick up some shoes for work and bought a large 5 ball bearing spinning reel for 29.00. Went on the internet to find info on this reel with out any luck. The line copacity is 20/175, 30/140, and 40/115 bought this reel for mainly catfishing, I normally fish with ambas
eur baitcasters but for 29.00 I figured I'd give this reel a chance. The gentleman at the store said they sell quite a bit of these reels at there store in Seattle, Washington where they do Ocean fishing. If anyone out there knows anything about these reels i'd appreciate it, also any info on a good spinning rod for this monster. thanks guys.[signature]

Is Pacifica the brand name or a model name? It looks like a model name to me but can't be 100% sure.

on the main body behind where you put the line on in has writen PACIFICA with FEEL THE POWER under it with GEAR RATIO 4.7:1 under that. on the other side it has P6000, also on the box it has PACIFICA/PACIFICA 6000, still have no idea who made it unless it is a generic made by a major brand.
