its all changed now in reaction to that tie all star game fiasco - now the tagline is "this time it counts!" whichever team wins - that league gets home field advantage in the world series, a huge plus

Cubs would have beat them if they weren't cursed. But you're right they wereway hot at the right time. It didn't matter who had home field advantage.
Home field advantage works for teams like the Twins.
