Lake of the Woods - heavyduty - 08-06-2004
I'm planning a trip to LOTW next June. This will be my first trip to Canada. I will be fishing for Musky & Pike and wanted to know if it was necessary to invest a large sum of money on large lures (Eg. Bucktails, large stick baits, spinners) or will my fairly large selection of bass lures be enough?

Heavyduty, welcome aboard! Where are you located? Just curious.
There's definitely someone on here that should be able to help you out. I went ice fishing up in Canada on LOTW this past season. What a blast! Not sure about openwater fishing up there though.
Since you have until June next year, give Flagmanonice a chance to get his computer up and running again. Minneman might have an answer for you also.
Where will you be staying up in Canada?

Rat, I live in Valparaiso Indiana. About an hour ouside of Chicago. I appreciate your help and I certainly will check out the members you sugested. We will be staying at Canadian Haven.

Mike, not a problem. Minneman doesn't show up much. He's a busy man during the summer. During ice season he's on here more. I wish you the best of luck while out there! Which province is the resort in?
