AMISTAD Water fairly clear; 79 degrees; 16' low. Black bass to 7 pounds are fair on buzzbaits early, and on heavy jigs with trailers in 25 – 30 feet. Striped bass are fair on slabs and striper jigs under birds. White bass are fair on slabs and striper jigs under birds. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on cheesebait in 5 – 7 feet up the Rio Grande. Yellow catfish are slow.
