CBR and I met at lindon boat harbor wednesday after work to give the north end of the lake a shot. We learned really quickly why no one is putting in there, we couldn't even get our pontoon boats out of the harbor without dragging bottom. I never found any water any deeper than two feet. CBR rowed all the way down to the bubble up and well out in the lake past that finally found water 4 - 5 feet deep, but I never ventured out that far. On the way back in I got the pontoon beached and had to push it through the muck and mud a few hundred yards. CBR radioed that he hooked up a big carp, but that was about it for the fishing. I don't think I will be back to the north end until next spring when there is a little more water.
