I would rather not share any details about exact places to fish on an open internet forum but I’ll send you a PM with a few places for you to think about. The answer to your question depends on if you are looking for big fish, numbers of fish, wild fish or whatever else you prefer. Basically any of the rivers that are popular during the summer offer decent winter fly fishing. Make sure you check the regs to see what is open. Over the last few years more areas and even entire rivers have been opened up to year round fishing so get a hold of a current set of regs. Here’s a link to the 2004/2005 regs.

Maddawg, I’m sure you will check out the regs but decided to write a little more bout this problem because I’ve seen way too much ignorance or lack of conscience in the past.
I’ve seen way too many people that either don’t understand the regs and/or don’t care what the regulations are. A warden will write you a ticket regardless for the reason you fished a closed body of water so make sure you read and understand the regs.
