Some have asked about ice fishing lines. I have used regular lines and haven't had problems. I have also used the ice lines. They both work. 4 and six lb lines are working well right now. The fish seem to be a little leader shy. I Have caught some on 8lb test but not as many as I have on the smaller ib test lines. The spider lce line in the 4lb test is really also a great line. It is strong yet smaller lb test and does not seem to spook the fish as easily. A lot of what you will use depends on what your fishing for; where you are fishing; and how you are fishing. Experiment with what works best for you and your situation. Godd luck and tight lines!
