Lunar Reports - Hawkez - 01-18-2005 I have become a stern beleiver in the best fishing times using lunar reports. I have seen several intances when this reports were very accurate, almost down to the minute. How do people figure when the best times for fishing are? What does the moon have to do with it? If you are interested here is the link that I use. http://www.lake-link.com/anglers/moontimes/ Am I the only one the uses these? On the days when the catching is good, I look at the chart and it has been right on. On days when the catching is poor I also checked the chart and it would say the fishing should have been good during the times we were fishing. I took in account weather but it seems like the chart was right less than 50% of the time. I still check the chart but I never count on it to tell me when I should go fishing. The problem that I see with the chart is, it says there is good fishing every day if you fish during a certain time. I find it hard to believe that catching can be good every day if I fish at the time on the chart. Just my opinion. WH2 [signature] |
