Steamed Cod Supper - tubeN2 - 02-11-2005 1 lb. frozen Cod 1 Tbsp. butter 2 small onions, thinly sliced 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can Clams, drained 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can Shrimp, drained 1/2 cup gouda or cheddar cheese Dill weed 1/4 tsp. salt Pepper Remove Cod from package and allow to stand at room temperature 20 minutes. Cut fish into 8 pieces. In a skillet, melt butter, saute onions until tender. Place fish on onion, cover and steam over low heat for 2 minutes. Add Clams, Shrimp, cheese, salt, pepper and dill. Cover and steam 2 more minutes. Remove from pan to warm platter. Makes 4 servings |
