Annual Canyon Lake Open Team Bass Tournament - JimF - 02-20-2005 Saturday, February 26, 2005 GUARANTEED $1,500.00 cash for first place. Paying cash to 1 in every 7 places, and 100% pay back for Big Bass. Qualifying species and limit: A total of 5 fish per team in any combination of Largemouth, Smallmouth, Guadalupe and/or Spotted Bass no less than 14" in length are acceptable. WHERE: Jacob's Creek Park off FM 306. ENTRY FEE: $150.00 per team/boat. REGISTRATION: For anyone that did not pre-register and receive an early boat number, registration will be conducted and boat numbers assigned on a first come basis starting at 5:00 AM tournament morning at the ramp/launch site. TAKE OFF: At "first good light" as determined by tournament staff. WEIGH-IN: At least one team member must be in line with their fish no later than 3:00 PM. Please handle and take care of all fish during competition to ensure the live release of fish after weigh-in. Proper and adequate use of functioning live wells is required. There is a penalty for any "dead fish" presented with white gills will be rejected. OFF LIMITS: No designated off limits days. Water immediately adjacent to, or within any marina is considered out of bounds for the purpose of fishing/competition during tournament hours. SPORTSMANSHIP: Please observe and maintain minimum distance of 50 yards from other fishermen/boats that are at anchor, tied up or with the trolling motor in the "down" position. No trolling is allowed and only one rod may be in use at any time. Violation of any rule leading to a formal protest by a competitor within 15 minutes after weigh-in is closed and before winners are announced may result in sanctions or disqualification of the offender if determined to be valid in the opinion of the tournament director and staff.
