Dressed Lure Hooks - TubeDude - 03-14-2005 [cool][#0000ff]I had some requests for info on what kinds of hooks to use on the slab spoons I make. I decided to make up some samples of the "dressed hooks" I use, both on the spoons and on trolling lures, like Producers. [/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]I am also including a brief "writeup" I put together, which is too long to include as part of the post. [/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]There are three pics attached, which show some of my favorite styles and colors. Some of the single hooks are those I make to become part of my inline spinner assortment, for trout and other species. Some of them are killer for white bass and other smaller species.[/#0000ff] [signature] Re: [TubeDude] Dressed Lure Hooks - FlyingFish - 03-15-2005 [black][size 3]I hadn’t thought of dressing with a tube jig. I’m going to give that a try on the spinners I made that I can easily swap out the hooks. Thanks for the tips![/size][/black] [signature] |
