more stocking info (and/or Farmington lake info) - outdoorfanatic - 03-26-2005 I was wondering if there was anyplace to find info about fish stocking in smaller ponds and streams. I know about the DWR's stocking page, but it doesn't mention things like mountain lakes or streams that I know are stocked. The main reason I'm wondering is because I want to know if they still stock farmington lake. Farmington lake is 8 miles up farmington canyon, it's not the pond at the mouth of the canyon. They have stocked it in the past but I know it has major winter kill and I am unsure if they still stock it. I'm also curious to see what kind of trout they put in some of the Uinta lakes by airplane. Re: [outdoorfanatic] more stocking info (and/or Farmington lake info) - vanman - 03-27-2005 Hello Outdoorfanatic, and welcome to the board. I have always found this website useful: outdoorsgonewild.com On the mainpage there is a stocking report tab on the left side under menu. It seems to be updated a lot more during the summer months. And it gives you a detailed list of what species were stocked where, and how big they were. Hope this helps some. I look forward to seeing your posts![cool] [signature] Re: [outdoorfanatic] more stocking info (and/or Farmington lake info) - CBR - 03-27-2005 Keep your eye open to outdoorsgonewild stocking page or the dwr one. We are about to publish an up to date 2005 stocking report. [signature] Re: [vanman] more stocking info (and/or Farmington lake info) - outdoorfanatic - 03-27-2005 Thanks for the welcome. I have been on this site for a while under another name (utfisherman333) but I didn't like it much so I changed it. I only used it in the first place 'cause it's my yahoo e-mail acount. Thanks again. |
